Board of Directors: Deborah Tan

Deborah joined Far East Organization in August 2020 as Deputy Director, Retail Business Group, responsible for the Group Retail Marketing and Retail Operations which overlooks more than 18 operating retail properties across Singapore.

She has spearheaded improvements to the overall customer experience in Far East malls, reinforced the digital eco-system by leveraging technology to deliver improvements in operational processes and customer insights, and develop strategies to raise the brand awareness of Far East malls and social media assets. She continues to push to better meet the needs of shoppers and tenants, keeping organisational-wide goals and values in mind.

Before joining Far East Organization, Deborah had more than 28 years of experience in advertising, marketing communications, banking, and the real estate industry. She spent 16 years with an established Singapore property developer, of which 12 years were abroad in Shanghai, China. She has a proven record in the overall management of integrated developments and seeing projects from their development to operation.

Deborah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Queensland University of Technology, with a major in Marketing and a specialization in Advertising.
